Rosemary’s bungee jump success
Retired teacher, Rosemary Budding, took on the challenge of a lifetime as she bungee jumped for Safe Child Thailand in New Zealand. Rosemary, 70, chose to support Safe Child Thailand owing to her first-hand experience of volunteering as a teacher for young adults with disabilities in Chonburi Province.
Rosemary was in good hands as she chose to take on "The World's first bungy" at Kawarau Bridge in Queenstown. Watch Rosemary's jump below:
When asked how she managed to take on such a feat of bravery, Rosemary answered “The jump went according to plan - no last minute nerves or doubts. I focused on the reason I was doing it and the enormous swell of support I had behind me. The resulting feelings were of great exhilaration and achievement.”
Rosemary hopes to raise £5000 online at her JustGiving Page which is still accepting donations.
