Support from Trusts and foundations makes a huge difference to the impact we can make. We are enormously thankful to those who work with us to keep children safe in Thailand.
Working in the fields of healthcare, education, child protection, anti-trafficking, and family and community empowerment Safe Child Thailand work for a Thailand where all children are respected, protected and enjoy equal opportunities.
Every child has rights, whatever their ethnicity, gender, religion, language, abilities or any other status. Safe Child Thailand recognises that vulnerable children need additional support in reaching their rights and our work will be aimed at these children, their families and communities.
We are guided by the articles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, ratified by Thailand in 1992. Whilst all children should be protected and benefit from the 54 articles we consider it our mission to focus on helping the most at risk and vulnerable children.
Safe Child Thailand are working in partnership with outstanding local partners, to provide robust social welfare services and childcare choices which protect children from abuse, violence and exploitation. Actively facilitating Thai organisations to work towards care reform.
By taking an increasingly informed and strategic approach, leveraging the involvement of the Royal Thailand Government and providing more cost effective solutions to childcare we aim to increase our impact and provide better value for money to protect children in Thailand.
